What is a moneyline bet?

A moneyline bet is a wager on who wins a match. That’s it. No map handicap, no first-blood prop, no over-2.5-maps line. Just the outright winner of the series.

In CS2, Dota 2, LoL and most other esports you’ll see moneylines listed as two prices: one for each team. The favourite has the shorter price (e.g. 1.40). The underdog has the longer price (e.g. 3.00). Bet a tenner on the favourite at 1.40 and you get €14 back. Bet the same tenner on the underdog at 3.00 and you get €30 back if they cause an upset.
