Every guide, review and tip on eGaming HQ exists to do one thing: help you bet on esports more smartly and more safely. These guidelines set out how we research, write and check that content, and how we keep it honest. If we ever fall short of what’s below, we want to hear about it.

What we set out to do
eGaming HQ covers esports betting: where to bet, what the odds mean, which sites are worth your time and which markets are worth a punt. Our readers are mostly adults who already follow the scene, from CS2 Majors to the League World Championship. We write for people who know their IGL from their AWPer and just want straight answers on where to put their money.
That means our job is to be useful and clear, not to pad pages out. If a guide can answer your question in 600 words, it won’t run to 2,000.
How we create our content
Reviews start with a real account. We sign up, deposit, place bets, test the markets on actual matches and, where we can, make a withdrawal. We note the licence, the bonus terms, the esports coverage and how the site handles payments. The full method is on our How We Review page.
Guides and explainers are built from primary sources: operator terms, regulator websites, tournament organisers and the games themselves. Every page is researched, written and edited by people. We use research tools to speed up the groundwork, but a person makes the calls, checks the facts and signs it off.
Our editorial code
1. We stay independent
We earn money through affiliate links, and we’re open about it. What we don’t do is sell a higher ranking. An operator can’t pay to climb a list or soften a review. If a site is poor, we say so, even when there’s a commercial relationship in place.
2. We get the facts right
Bonus figures, licence details, odds and legal points are checked against the source before they go live. If we can’t stand a claim up, it doesn’t run. Where the rules differ by country, we say which country we mean.
3. We keep it clear
Betting has enough jargon already. We explain the terms that matter and skip the ones that don’t. If a page is confusing, that’s on us, and we’d rather you told us than struggled with it.
4. We show our sources
Where a fact comes from somewhere specific, a licence register, a tournament’s prize page, an operator’s terms, we link to it so you can check our work.
5. We correct our mistakes
We get things wrong sometimes. Odds move, bonuses change, sites lose a licence. When you flag an error, we review it and fix what needs fixing. Email admin@egaminghq.com and we’ll take a look.
6. We put safety first
Betting should stay fun. Every betting page carries a responsible gambling reminder, and we only feature licensed operators with player protection tools. If gambling has stopped being fun, our problem gambling page lists free, confidential help.
