League of Legends (LoL)

This guide ranks the four best League of Legends betting sites for 2026. We tested each one on a live operator account through an LEC and an LCK weekend before scoring them out of 5. Worlds 2026 in October is the single biggest esports betting event of the year. Fearless Draft, regional pricing gaps, and the five edges that survive a Worlds bracket are covered below.

The one-minute version

The best League of Legends betting sites in 2026 come down to four names. GG.BET prices the deepest live in-play menu and takes our top pick for LoL specifically. Betway carries the UKGC regulator weight. TonyBet covers the EU and Ontario. BetOnline is the fallback for US players who can’t use the international books. Worlds lands in October, the single biggest esports betting event of the year, and the prep starts now. All four books are reviewed below, scored out of 5. No operator pays for placement.

Bench depth decides Bo5s now. Blame Fearless Draft.

Most guides to League of Legends betting open with a list of bookmakers. We’re opening with the rule change that quietly broke half the pre-match models this year. Because if you don’t understand Fearless Draft, you’re pricing 2024 LoL in a 2026 market.

Riot rolled Fearless Draft into all major LoL events in 2026, including the LCK and LPL playoff stages, MSI, and Worlds. The rule is simple: champions picked or banned in one game of a series cannot be used again in any later game of the same series. By game three of a Bo5, the pool has narrowed enough that bench depth starts deciding the result.

This changes how the handicap and map total markets read. A team that runs the same Yasuo mid plus the same Aphelios bot every game cannot do that under Fearless. By game three the comfort picks are gone. The team with the deeper roster, or the team whose mid laner has six playable picks rather than two, suddenly has the structural edge.

Three concrete bets that come out of this:

  • Map handicap -1.5 on the deep-roster favourite. Teams with high champion ocean (G2 historically, T1 with their academy rotation) win games four and five more often than the moneyline implies because Fearless punishes the shallow side.
  • Map total over 3.5 in close Bo5s. Fearless adds adaptation depth to each game. Two evenly matched sides drag the series out longer because the draft chess matters more.
  • Live odds shift after game one. If the winning team gave up a strong composition, their live price for game two often shortens too quickly because the bookmaker is reading the moneyline, not the draft pool. There is value on the losing side in game two when their bench is deeper.

The record that holds

T1 won the 2024 Worlds Championship, their fifth Worlds title and their fourth in five years. Faker remains the only player to win Worlds in three different decades. Korean teams have lifted the trophy at twelve of the fifteen Worlds finals played.

What a 4am LCK kickoff taught us about these four books

Each sportsbook on this list ran on our own balance for at least one LEC and one LCK weekend before we scored it. We track seven things, weighted by what matters when you are putting money on a series at 4am UK time:

  • Market depth per series. How many props are priced beyond the match-winner. The good books offer map handicap, map totals, total kills and a full set of early-game objective props (blood, dragon, tower). The weaker books only price the moneyline and a Bo3 handicap.
  • Regional coverage. Whether the book actually prices LCK Korean kickoff at 06:00 UK and LPL Chinese matches in their native slot. Many books shut down on LPL fixtures. The ones that price them are the ones to use.
  • Live in-play depth. Worlds gold leads compound. The book that posts the most live markets after first dragon is the book to bet from minute 12 onwards.
  • Licensing weight. UKGC and MGA at the top for UK and EU players. Estonian and Curacao licences are valid but offer less consumer recourse if a withdrawal is contested. AGCO Ontario for Canadians.
  • Payments and withdrawal speed. We tested deposit and withdrawal in the operator’s home currency. Withdrawal time clocked from request to bank receipt or chain confirmation.
  • Bonus terms read against series volume. A 5x rollover on a Bo5 weekend is realistic. A 30x rollover is not. We score on the bonus you can actually clear, not the headline number.
  • Responsible gambling. Deposit limits, cool-off periods, self-exclusion, GamStop or equivalent. Non-negotiable.

Full method on our review methodology page. No operator pays for placement. No tier-jumping for affiliate revenue.

Priority order for LoL: live in-play depth at the top, then regional coverage, then regulator weight. GG.BET wins on the top two. Betway leads on regulator weight. TonyBet handles the EU and Ontario crowd. BetOnline is the option for US players, since most of the international books on this list do not accept US accounts.

GG.BET 4.0 / 5 Curaçao + ESIC Deepest LoL market depth, live in-play 5x bonus

TonyBet 4.1 / 5 Estonian + AGCO Ontario EU players, Canadian players 10x bonus

Every book has a blind region. Bet into the gap.

Not every book prices every region equally. A sportsbook with strong Korean and Chinese data models will tighten the LCK and LPL lines but leave LEC, LCS, CBLOL or VCS with wider margins. Another operator might cover Western leagues sharply but underprice LPL underdogs because their model has less Chinese regular-season data. That regional knowledge gap turns into a pricing gap, and the bettor who knows which book models which region best finds the edge.

Where the gaps actually live in 2026:

  • LPL number-two seed underdogs at Worlds. Books from Europe and North America still underweight the depth of China’s number-two seed at the World Championship. Lines on those Chinese teams against top-seed LEC or LCS sides are the most consistent Worlds outright value.
  • LCK summer regular-season mid-table. Books price the top three (Gen.G, T1, Hanwha Life) hard. The mid-table series (DRX vs Kwangdong, Nongshim vs Dplus KIA) get less data attention. Map handicap markets there move slower.
  • CBLOL and LLA outrights. Bookmakers covering Latin American regions price them on a fraction of the data they use for the LEC. Outright futures on dominant teams in Brazil and the LLA are persistently soft.
  • MSI play-in stage. Wildcards from minor regions face top-three regional sides. The map total markets move late because most books have nothing on the wildcard side’s recent form. Watch the line drift between draft reveal and game start.

The practical move: keep two accounts, one with a book that covers East-leaning regions (GG.BET runs both LCK and LPL with full markets) and one with a Western-leaning book (Betway for UKGC players, TonyBet for EU and Ontario). Compare the price on the same match between the two before placing the bet. The arbitrage windows are short but the price gap between regions is real.

The LoL markets worth your money, and the edges hiding inside them

LoL prices more side markets than any other esport. The 5v5 format gives books a long list of objective takes and prop bets beyond the moneyline. The four worth knowing.

  • Map handicap. The single sharpest LoL market. Favourite gives the underdog a -1.5 (Bo5) or -0.5 (Bo3) map start. Best read when the favourite has the deeper champion roster under Fearless rules. Most consistent value at major events where draft chess matters most.
  • Map totals. Over or under 2.5 maps (Bo3) or 3.5 maps (Bo5). Closer series sit over, walkovers sit under. Late-game scaling teams drag the series out longer. Two early-game-focused teams produce shorter series.
  • Dragon and dragon soul. Securing the opening two dragons gives a team mid-game control. The first-dragon market prices off jungle matchups and early-game champion priority. Dragon soul as a series-state prop bet pays when one side has the stronger mid-game composition drafted.
  • Total map kills. Over or under, usually around 25 to 28 on the LEC and a touch higher on the LPL. Patch-dependent. Aggressive early-game compositions (Lee Sin jungle, Draven bot) push the over. Methodical scaling drafts (Ornn top, Kassadin mid) push the under.

Knowing the market is half of it. Timing is the other half. Three habits that keep paying us, bracket after bracket:

  • Wait one week on a new patch. Riot patches roughly every two weeks during a Split. The first week on a new patch is variance city because no team has solved the new meta yet. Hold off on confident bets until the second week when the priority champions emerge.
  • Read the gold graph for live betting. LoL gold leads compound. Up 3,000 gold at 20 minutes, the favourite has a meaningful probability edge and the live line reflects it. Once the lead crosses item-threshold (around 4,000 gold) the comeback chance drops below 15% in elite play.
  • Bet against jet-lagged Korean teams at LAN day one. The LCK is the strongest league on paper. But LCK rosters consistently play below their level for the first three days of a Worlds Group Stage in Europe or the Americas. Map handicap on the LCK favourite is sharp value on day one.

The long run-in: from MSI in Daejeon to the Worlds final

The 2026 League of Legends World Championship opens in October. Swiss-format Group Stage in one host city, knockouts in another, a five-week window of bracket play, and the highest betting volume in esports for the calendar year. The lines move fast and the books that price LoL hardest will own the spreads.

If you’re reading this in early July, you have time. Worlds qualification is still working out the LCK summer and the LPL summer brackets. The futures markets open the week the rosters get locked. The bettors who win at Worlds are the ones who know which patch the bracket will play on, which Korean teams handle the jet-lag week one, and which Chinese underdogs the Western sportsbooks still misprice. Everything above was your prep. This is the schedule it pays off on.

The number that matters

The 2025 League of Legends World Championship final pulled a peak concurrent viewership of 6.94 million across Twitch and YouTube, excluding Chinese platforms. That is more eyeballs on a single esports event than any other competitive game produces in a full year.

Route to Worlds 2026

NOW → 12 JULYMSI 2026, Daejeon. Spring champions from each region in a short, high-stakes bracket. Side markets run looser than the outright here.
JULY → SEPTSummer splits: LCK, LPL, LEC, LCS. Worlds qualification gets settled weekend by weekend, and the form you log now carries straight into bracket pricing.
ROSTER LOCKFutures open. Books post their Worlds outrights the week rosters get locked. The soft prices live in that window, before the models catch up.
OCTOBERSwiss Group Stage, host city one. The jet-lag window. LCK sides routinely play below their level for the first three days on Western soil.
OCT → NOVKnockouts, host city two. Five weeks of bracket play and the highest betting volume esports produces all year.

Riot runs four major regional leagues and two international events. The calendar fills almost every weekend of the year for the bettor who follows it.

  • LCK 2026 (Korea). Seoul-based. T1, Gen.G, Hanwha Life and Dplus KIA lead. The historically dominant league. Winter, Spring and Summer Splits feed Worlds qualification.
  • LPL 2026 (China). Shanghai. Biggest league by team count. JDG, TES, WBG, BLG. Deepest field, so the sharpest underdog prices live here.
  • LEC 2026 (Europe). Berlin-based. G2, Fnatic, MAD Lions and Team BDS lead. EU broadcast slot, highest European betting volume.
  • LCS 2026 (Americas). Combined Americas league since the 2024 reform. Cloud9, FlyQuest, Team Liquid. Smaller production but the playoff series move full markets.
  • Mid-Season Invitational 2026. Held in Daejeon, South Korea, 28 June through 12 July 2026. Spring champions from each region meet. Short, high-stakes bracket. Side markets are looser than the outright.
  • World Championship 2026. October to November. Five-week tournament window. Swiss-format Group Stage in one host city, knockouts in another. The single biggest betting event in esports. Outright opens months ahead at most books.

FAQ

Questions you might have on your mind

Where can I bet on League of Legends in 2026?

GG.BET, Betway, TonyBet and BetOnline all post LoL markets across the LEC, LCK, LPL, LCS, MSI and Worlds. GG.BET leads on LoL market depth and live in-play. Betway leads on regulator weight (UKGC plus MGA). TonyBet covers EU and Ontario. BetOnline is the option for US players who cannot use the international books.

Is LoL betting legal?

League of Legends esports betting is legal anywhere licensed sports betting is legal. That includes the UK, most of the EU, and Canada province-by-province. Always check your local regulator. You must be 18 or older.

What is the best LoL market for beginners?

Match winner. Pick a team to win a Bo3 or Bo5 series. Place a small stake on a featured LEC, LCK or LPL fixture and watch the series. Once you have watched a few weekends, map handicap markets usually offer better value than the moneyline when one side is heavily favoured.

When is the next LoL World Championship?

The 2026 LoL World Championship runs October through November. Swiss-format Group Stage in one host city, knockouts in another, a five-week tournament window. Futures markets open weeks ahead at most books.

Can I bet on LoL matches live?

Yes. GG.BET runs the deepest live in-play menu on featured LEC, LCK, LPL and Worlds matches. Betway and TonyBet also run live markets on major fixtures. Cloudbet posts live markets on bigger events. Lines move fast on objective takes (Baron, dragon, tower) so live betting rewards bettors who watch the gold graph.

What is Fearless Draft and how does it affect betting?

Fearless Draft is the LoL series rule that bans any champion picked or banned in one game from being used again in later games of the same series. Riot adopted it across all major events in 2026. By game three of a Bo5, the champion pool narrows enough that teams with deeper rosters gain a compounding edge. Map handicap and map total markets read differently under Fearless and reward bettors who track each team champion depth.

Do any sportsbooks offer crypto for LoL betting?

GG.BET and BetOnline both take crypto deposits alongside fiat. BetOnline accepts Bitcoin, Ethereum and stablecoins from US players. For a crypto-first option not on this stack, see our crypto esports betting sites guide.

Can I use PayPal for LoL betting?

Betway accepts PayPal in most regulated markets including the UK. TonyBet supports PayPal in selected European markets. GG.BET takes Skrill and Neteller. BetOnline accepts both card and crypto. If PayPal is non-negotiable, Betway is the pick.

How do regional pricing gaps work for LoL betting?

Each sportsbook prices regions according to the data quality of its model. GG.BET prices the LCK and LPL tightly with deep market coverage. Western books like Betway and TonyBet price the LEC and LCS sharply but post wider margins on LPL and LCK series. The bettor who knows which book models which region best finds the pricing gap and the edge.

Which LoL teams should I follow for betting tips?

T1, Gen.G and Hanwha Life headline the LCK. JDG, TES, WBG and BLG headline the LPL. G2 Esports and Fnatic remain the LEC names that move betting volume. Cloud9, FlyQuest and Team Liquid lead the LCS. Track LCK and LPL summer split standings ahead of Worlds qualification because the form there feeds the international bracket.

How do I claim a LoL betting welcome bonus?

Open an account through our affiliate link, make a qualifying deposit (usually €10 minimum), and the bonus credits automatically or after opting in on the cashier page. Wagering requirements vary: GG.BET is 5x, Betway is 7x, TonyBet is 10x, BetOnline is 14x on combined deposit plus bonus. Read the bonus terms in your account before betting.

Is LoL betting available on mobile?

Yes. All four operators on this list have full mobile sportsbooks. Betway and GG.BET have dedicated iOS and Android apps. TonyBet and Cloudbet are mobile-web but the responsive sites work cleanly on iPhone and Android browsers.
