HOW WE TESTED TONYBET
We opened a real TonyBet account on 24 August 2026, funded it with €20 through Apple Pay, built a bet on a live League of Legends fixture, and requested our money back the same afternoon. Twelve screenshots from that session sit behind every claim on this page.
We tested the part almost every review skips, which is whether the money actually moves. It does, in both directions.

A note on the numbers. We tested TonyBet’s international site, so every figure on this page is in euros, with Canadian dollar equivalents alongside at roughly C$1.60 to the euro. Getting money out is where TonyBet really scores
This is the part that separates a decent bookmaker from a bad one, and it is the part reviews almost never test.

Look at the minimums again, because they are the tell. You must deposit at least €20, about C$32, but you can withdraw from €10. Most books set the withdrawal floor higher than the deposit floor, which quietly traps small balances. TonyBet does the opposite.
One practical note. Thirteen ways in, but withdrawals return to your card. That is standard anti-money-laundering practice rather than a TonyBet quirk, so use a card you are happy to be paid back on.
One tip that will save you grief. Complete your identity verification the day you sign up rather than the day you want paying. TonyBet’s public complaint record is mostly about verification hold-ups on larger withdrawals, and getting your documents in early sidesteps nearly all of it.

We did not expect this one and it is the most consumer-friendly thing we have seen on a sign-up screen.

We took the third option, which is exactly why our €20 was free to walk back out.
Most books bury the refusal somewhere in the terms, because a bonus means wagering requirements and wagering requirements keep your money where it is. Putting “no thanks” on the same row as the offers is a small design decision that tells you a lot.
If you do want the sports offer, it is 100% up to €100 at 10x wagering with minimum odds of 1.65, roughly C$160, and that is a cleaner set of terms than most of the industry manages.
How to get the best value out of TonyBet
Here is something no other TonyBet review will tell you, because it takes an afternoon with a calculator.

Every price has the bookmaker’s cut inside it. On a single bet at TonyBet that cut averages 9.18%, measured across five League of Legends winner markets.
Being straight with you: that is the most expensive of the three books we have measured this way. GG.BET came out at 6.45% and Betway at 7.46%. On a plain match winner you are paying TonyBet nearly three points more than the cheapest of the three, and it lands on every bet you place.
What you get for it is a licensed book that pays out without an argument, which the cheapest of those three cannot claim. That is a real trade and only you know which side of it you want to be on.
The thing is, that cut multiplies when you combine bets rather than adding up. Three legs together and the combined margin reaches 30%. That is not a TonyBet problem, it is how every accumulator at every bookmaker works, and almost nobody explains it.

So the practical advice is simple.
Bet singles at TonyBet and you are getting fair value. Match winner, map winner and handicap are all priced sensibly, and the pricing is consistent right across the board. We checked seventeen different markets and every one landed between 7.5% and 11.1%.
That consistency is worth pointing out. Plenty of books price their headline markets sharply and then quietly load the fun stuff, the kill totals and the map durations, where casual money goes. TonyBet does not. There is no trap market here. What you pay on a match winner is what you pay on everything else, give or take a tenth of a point.
Where TonyBet falls short
No book is all upside, and there are five things here worth knowing before you sign up.
The pricing is the dearest we have measured, as the table above shows. If price is the thing you care most about, TonyBet is not the answer.
There are no player markets at all. Not one. You cannot back a named player for kills or anything else, and there is no first blood market, nothing on dragons or barons. Some books price all ten players individually. TonyBet prices teams and leaves it there.
The €20 floor is high and it applies to everything. No method is cheaper, which rules TonyBet out for anyone who likes small stakes. And there is no cryptocurrency anywhere on the cashier.
Verification is where the complaints cluster. TonyBet’s public complaint record at AskGamblers runs to 21 entries, most marked resolved, and the pattern is withdrawal delays tied to identity checks. One player documented eighteen days with £5,000 pending. Our own €20 came back without a murmur, but €20 is not £5,000, and we would be misleading you to pretend one proves the other. Get your documents in on day one.
There is no transaction history you can reach in the account. We went looking for one and there is no page for it anywhere in the web account, so you cannot check a past deposit or payout yourself. Your bank statement is the only record you hold. Most books show you a running list.
One smaller thing that says something. TonyBet labels its kill markets “frags”, which is Counter-Strike language, on a League of Legends match. It reads like a generic esports odds feed rather than a product built around each game.
Deep on tournaments, straightforward on markets
TonyBet carried fourteen separate League of Legends competitions on an ordinary Monday. LEC, LCK, LPL and LCS, plus TCL, LFL, Prime League, NACL, LCP, Circuito Desafiante and the Hellenic Legends League. If League of Legends is your game, that is more competitions than most books carry. There were 156 live events across the site at the time.
That is genuinely wide coverage and it is the part the marketing undersells.

On the match page itself, TonyBet keeps things clean. Four tabs, one for the match and one each for maps one, two and three, with 24 markets and 64 prices on the tie we counted. Winner, map handicap, total maps, kill handicaps, kill totals, map duration and per-team kill lines.
Map three is priced with a full market set, which is not a given and matters if you back series going the distance.
As covered above, the exotic end is missing entirely. TonyBet covers the bets most people actually place and leaves the rest alone. Whether that is focus or a gap depends on how you bet. If you want the main markets priced consistently across fourteen leagues, it works. If you build cards out of player props, it does not.
Properly licensed, and in more places than most
We tested TonyBet in euros, on its international site, so that is what every figure on this page reflects. But TonyBet is not a one-country operation, and the licensing behind it is the strongest thing on this page.
Straight from TonyBet’s own terms, the operator is Tonybet OÜ, an Estonian company registered in Tallinn under number 12103082, and it holds three sets of credentials.

The Estonian licences cover the EU product, which is the one we tested and the one most European players will land on. Estonia is a full EU regulator, not a rubber stamp bought offshore.
The Kahnawake licence covers players further afield. It is a long-established Canadian regulator based in Mohawk Territory in Quebec, and it is what lets TonyBet serve a spread of international markets beyond Europe.
Ontario gets its own product entirely. TonyBet is registered with iGaming Ontario and regulated by the AGCO, which puts it on a very short list of esports-capable books a player in that province can use legally. That combination matters. TonyBet’s own terms are written to handle Canada province by province, including the different legal ages of 18 and 19, and Estonia separately at 21. That is not something a shell operation bothers to do.
Founded in 2009 by the poker player Antanas “Tony G” Guoga, TonyBet has been running for over sixteen years. A large slice of the esports betting market is books that appeared three years ago on a Curacao licence and could vanish just as quickly. This one has a company number, a registered address and licence numbers you can look up.
Two honest limits. TonyBet is not licensed in the UK or the United States, so players in either are better served closer to home. And because we tested the euro site, treat the exact minimums and bonus figures here as the euro version. The odds, market depth and margins should hold wherever you play, but your local site may set different limits.
