Lord is the big neutral objective that spawns at minute eight and hands the slaying team serious pushing power. Turtle is its smaller early-game cousin, worth gold and a buff. EXP lane is the top lane, home of the solo carry. Gold lane is the bottom lane, where the marksman farms. First-pick advantage is the structural edge held by the team picking first in the draft, real enough in the current meta that the deeper books occasionally price it as a prop. Everything else gets explained where it comes up.
One game, two speeds: the PH vs ID split that sets most MLBB prices
Mobile Legends is not one esport for pricing purposes. It’s at least three: MPL Philippines, MPL Indonesia, and the cross-region events (MSC, M-Series, EWC) where the two collide. PH plays fast, kill-heavy, snowball-friendly. ID plays slow, economy-first, Lord-centric. Books that average the two get cross-region series wrong, and punishing that error is the most profitable habit this page can teach you.
The lesson came at MSC 2024. Blacklist International vs RRQ Hoshi, Saturday afternoon, group stage. Coming out of MPL ID Season 13, RRQ were the dominant late-game side: slow-rolled lobbies, Lord trades only when the economy gave them five-on-five value. The book had RRQ at -1.5 maps in a best-of-three and the market took it at face value, because the ID priors said RRQ should bury a fading PH team.
Blacklist ran them over 2-0 in twenty-eight minutes. Hadji on Lancelot, Wise on Estes, the full PH playbook of dive early, fight on mid Lord, never let the game settle into the late phase Indonesian teams live in. The book had priced the series on ID pacing. PH doesn’t play that game. They don’t draft for it, they don’t farm for it, they don’t trade for it. Two hundred pesos gone, along with a two-year assumption that MLBB pricing models transfer across regions. They don’t.
The cross-region matchups are where this cashes. When a PH team meets an ID team at MSC, EWC or M-Series, most books price the series off each team’s regular-season form, in its own region, against its own pace profile. That’s averaging two different games. The check that actually predicts these series is six months of results against opponents from outside the team’s own region. MSC 2025 threw up three underdog spots on exactly this pattern, and M7 will throw up more. Don’t price a cross-region series off regular-season form. Ever. GG.BET and Stake shade these lines tightest; Thunderpick and Cloudbet run looser. Bet the looser book.
The other four regions in one breath. MPL Malaysia and Singapore is the closest thing to PH pace with thinner roster depth, so variance runs high and the top two or three teams get squeezed. MPL Cambodia plays like a rougher ID. MPL MENA is new enough that thin data keeps favourites underpriced. And Snapdragon Pro Series India runs year-round at a lower ceiling, where the gap between the top sides and the rest is wider than the price ever says. GG.BET carries most of it.
Ban-phase money: reading the draft before the books reprice
MLBB runs roughly 130 heroes through a draft of six bans and five picks per side, every map, with the meta reshuffled on a six-week patch cadence. At any moment maybe twelve to fifteen heroes are genuine S-tier pro picks. That churn is the point. Books pricing draft-adjacent markets off last week’s tier list miss every time a patch lands mid-week.
Competitive drafts in 2026 revolve around three archetypes. The engage frontline jungle (Fredrinn, Yu Zhong, Barats), who soaks pressure and starts teamfights on his own terms. The EXP-lane carry (Yi Sun-shin, Yin, Lancelot when the bans let him through), who becomes a solo kill threat by minute twelve. And the support enabler (Estes, Floryn, Mathilda), who keeps everyone upright through the early Lord contests. A pick line with all three slots filled can either snowball the mid-game or refuse to lose a late one. A draft missing one of them is fragile, whatever the form table says.
That’s the read behind the cleanest pre-match edge in MLBB: a favourite at -1.5 maps priced off overall season form, facing an underdog with stronger draft flexibility. MPL PH ran a string of these in late 2025, with Smart Omega forcing opponents into awkward mid-game comps off heavy frontline drafts while the books kept quoting the favourite off map differential. Cross-checking your pre-match draft expectation against the actual early bans on the day is twenty minutes of prep that pays for itself.
Patch windows are the other half. When a hero picks up a real buff (call it +3% competitive winrate in week one), books take about a week and a half to fully reprice the draft markets that touch him. Spot the buff in pro play early and the gap is yours, briefly. Nerfs run the other way and slower: the February Yu Zhong nerf mid-MPL Season 17 left Yu Zhong-reliant teams overpriced for two or three series while the market caught up. Read the patch notes the day they land, then watch the next four series the affected teams play.
Who handles this best? GG.BET price first-pick advantage and ban-share props on the big events. Thunderpick price Lord control by side, which tracks draft composition more closely than any other prop on any book. Stake’s draft pricing is thinner, but their settlement on an eighteen-minute best-of-five is genuinely instant. Cloudbet skip the micro-markets and instead bake draft-pool strength into full-season outrights better than the other three.
Every MLBB market on the slip, from first ban to final push
I’ll take the markets in the order the action happens: draft, early game, mid game, teamfights, then the series line. The more phases a book prices, the more places you can find a wrong number.
Before the map loads: draft props
Thin but growing. GG.BET price first-pick props (does the first-picking team win the map) at majors. Thunderpick occasionally price ban share, and both will quote specific-hero bans (will a given S-tier hero be banned this game) on knockout matches at M-Series and EWC. Smallest category on the page, strongest link to the patch-window edges above.
Minutes 0 to 8: blood money and the opening turret
The early board covers first blood, the opening turret, a successful invade, and gold lead at minute five. Of those, the blood market is the deep one, priced on all four books, and it’s the home of a small, boring, repeatable edge: PH matches draw blood earlier and more violently than the cross-region average the books model on. A book quoting the favoured team at -110 is implying a 52% chance. The true PH rate runs higher. Low variance, and it holds up week after week across the PH schedule. GG.BET price the first-turret side prop at EWC, Thunderpick cover it at MSC, and the other two skip it.
Minutes 8 to 15: the Lord window
Lord is the headline mid-game market: first Lord, total Lords, a Lord before minute twelve. Thunderpick are the only book of the four pricing Lord control by side, and right now that line is the softest price in MLBB. The current map rotation’s camp-clear timings favour the bottom-side team for the first Lord setup, and Thunderpick’s model hasn’t caught up. Bottom-side first Lord is structurally underpriced until a software update closes it. It works while it works. GG.BET price first-Lord and Lord totals on knockouts. Cloudbet don’t touch Lord markets at all.
Minute 15 onwards: kills and the teamfight props
Total kills over and under, side-specific kill totals, kill-leader props. Cloudbet do total kills well at EWC, GG.BET run kill-leader props on knockout matches, and Stake’s thinner kill coverage is offset by the fastest live settlement of the four. The regional pattern does the heavy lifting here: overs print on PH, unders print on ID, and blended cross-region pricing is where the books make their biggest mistakes.
The series line: handicaps, totals and a worked slip in pesos
Match winner, map handicap (+1.5 and -1.5 in a Bo3, +2.5 and -2.5 in a Bo5), total maps, correct score. All four books price these, and this is where the two-speeds card earns its keep. A worked example, in pesos, since a good share of this page’s readers bet in them. A PH underdog sits at +1.5 maps at 1.85 for a Bo3, against a favourite priced off a blended form line. Put 500 PHP on it. The underdog only needs one map, in a region where series go long, so the real hit rate on that line sits closer to 60% than the 54% the price implies. Win and 925 PHP comes back, 425 of it profit. Lose and you’re out a takeaway dinner. Repeat it enough times on the right numbers and the maths compounds. That’s the whole method: small, phase-aware bets on lines built from the wrong region’s pace.
MLBB betting apps, and how to spot a book that is not legit
None of the four run a dedicated MLBB app on the Philippine App Store. What they run is a mobile site that installs to your home screen, and GG.BET’s is the closest to a real app. Install the PWA and it opens full screen with the slip already logged in. Thunderpick’s loads fastest. Cloudbet and Stake work fine in mobile Safari, but neither bothers with an installable version.
That matters more than it sounds, because fake apps are where Filipino punters get caught. The pattern is always the same. An APK shared in a Facebook group, a login screen copying a real book, and a GCash number to send your deposit to directly. No real sportsbook asks you to send money to a personal GCash number. Ever. Riyadh in July, M7 in Q4: betting the last year of the M-Series era
Three tiers of MLBB events shape 2026, and they price differently across the four books.
The Esports World Cup bracket, Riyadh, mid-July. Sixteen teams, groups into playoffs, MLBB’s second year on this stage and the second-biggest prize pool of the year. Prize-pool weight has been shifting towards EWC across the calendar, and the books that have updated their MLBB models to weight it the way they weight Worlds-equivalents in LoL or Dota 2 carry the sharper outright lines. Stake and GG.BET have done that work and run deep props through the group stage. Thunderpick price the bracket but stop at series winner and bracket outright. Cloudbet’s EWC futures opened earliest of the four, which is your play if you want a non-favourite outright at a number worth having.
M7, Q4. The last M-Series under the current format. Moonton confirmed in March that the 2027 calendar restructures into something new, so this is the final World Championship as MLBB veterans know it. Sixteen to twenty teams depending on final format details, regional invites plus a wild-card group. Outright pricing firms up through August and September. Two M7 outrights were available during MSC at prices that have since shortened by 40% as the field firmed. If a similar early window opens in late summer, take it.
The MPL leagues, year-round. Underneath both sits the weekly backbone: ten-week regular seasons plus playoffs, twice a year, matches every Friday to Sunday. Live betting stays liquid on PH and ID all season, while the other regions mostly trade pre-match. And MSC in mid-year pulls each region’s champions together, which makes it the cheapest testing ground for the cross-region method above before the money events arrive.
One habit worth building into the calendar: Cloudbet open MPL futures earlier than anyone, sometimes by weeks. Rosters churn hard between MLBB seasons, so if the opening fortnight shows you a genuinely improved side, the early Cloudbet outright is the cleanest way to price that read. The window shuts around week three or four. Move early. And through all of it, bet only what you can afford to lose. The edges on this page are real but thin, and thin edges punish oversized bets.
