Built for esports, and it shows
GG.BET launched in 2016 as an esports-only book, back when most bookies thought CS:GO was a typo. It still feels that way to use. The bet slip, the market list, the whole thing was built for people who actually watch this stuff.
They are also a Tier 1 anti-corruption partner of the Esports Integrity Commission, which on a book built entirely around esports counts for more than a badge on a football site.
We opened an account and spent a morning in it. Here is the honest version.
If you want the deepest esports coverage going and you mostly bet match winners and handicaps, GG.BET is the pick. If you want deposit limits you can set yourself, or you want to see how you will get paid before you pay in, go to Betway instead.
- Best for: the deepest esports coverage anywhere, if you bet match winners, map winners and handicaps
- Not for: anyone who wants deposit limits, or accumulator bettors hoping to clear the bonus
- Welcome offer: €1,000 + €250 free bets. 20x wagering, singles only at 1.75 or bigger, 14 days
- Licence: Curaçao. Not licensed in the UK, the US or Ireland
- Watch out for: no deposit limits or self-exclusion, and you cannot see withdrawal options until you have deposited

HOW WE TESTED GG.BET
We opened a real GG.BET account on 18 August 2026 and walked every market tab on one routine LPL regular-season match, counting 32 market blocks and 708 individual selections by hand. We asked their live chat directly about deposit limits and self-exclusion and screenshotted the answer. Every claim on this page comes from that session.
We did not deposit. GG.BET keeps the withdrawal section locked until an account is funded, so we could not see the payout methods, fees or timings, and we will not quote a payout time we have not measured ourselves.
Scored against our seven-criterion review method, the same one we apply to every book we cover.
How we scored GG.BET
Weighted against our published review methodology. Each criterion graded on evidence, not vibes.
| Criterion (weight) | Score |
|---|---|
| Licensing & availability (25%) – Curaçao licence, not UK/US | 3.7 / 5 |
| Esports market coverage (20%) – deepest title list we’ve reviewed | 5.0 / 5 |
| Payments & withdrawals (15%) – fast in, slower and inconsistent out | 3.8 / 5 |
| Bonus terms & transparency (15%) – disclosed fully, still punishing | 3.5 / 5 |
| Mobile & UX (10%) – strong browser, no native app everywhere | 3.8 / 5 |
| Responsible gambling (10%) – standard tools plus the ESIC layer | 4.0 / 5 |
| Customer support (5%) – quick live chat, thin help centre | 3.5 / 5 |
| Weighted overall | 4.0 / 5 |
Over 700 bets on one ordinary Tuesday match
We picked a nothing game on purpose. Anyone’s Legend against Top Esports, LPL regular season, 11am on a Tuesday.
GG.BET had over 700 different bets on it.
Not a Worlds final. A Tuesday.
Every player on both rosters had their own kills and deaths lines. And the markets know the game: first dragon, first baron, how long the map runs. That is not a football book with the names swapped.
The match page also puts both teams’ recent form and their head-to-head right next to the odds, so you are not opening five tabs to do your homework.

Form and head-to-head sit beside the odds. Most books make you go looking.
One thing missing. On a best of three we could only find bets on maps 1 and 2. No map 3 anywhere.
Where they make their money
Worth knowing before you start clicking.
The plain bets are priced well. Match winner, map winner, handicap, all competitive.
The fun stuff is not. Total kills, race to kills, how long the map lasts. We worked it out across a dozen markets and you are paying roughly a third more of a margin on those than on the winner.

The props are the fun bit. They are also the expensive bit.
So bet the winner and the handicap here. That is where the value sits. Treat the kills markets as a bit of craic rather than where you make your money.
The bonus, and the bit they do not shout about
€1,000 plus €250 in free bets across your first five deposits. Big number.
Before you get excited:
- You have to turn it over 20 times
- Singles only, so no accas
- Nothing priced shorter than 1.75 counts towards it
- 14 days to clear it
- Whatever you win from the bonus caps out at €50

The offer you land on. The terms underneath it are the real story.
There is one more that catches people out. The bonus money only kicks in once your own balance hits zero. You cannot run the two together.
It is a decent boost on your first few bets. It is not a grand. Claim it, spend it on singles you would have backed anyway, and do not chase the wagering.
And untick the marketing box when you sign up. It comes pre-ticked.
How do you get your money out of GG.BET?
You cannot find out until you have already put money in, and that is the honest answer.
Getting money in is easy enough. Twelve deposit methods, and the site had already clocked we were in Ireland. Visa, Mastercard, Revolut and Skrill from €8, Paysafecard from €5, and a pile of crypto from about three quid.
Seven of the twelve are crypto, which tells you what this place is under the bonnet. Revolut being there is handy and nobody ever mentions it. No PayPal, mind.

Twelve ways in. Revolut is there, PayPal is not.
The withdrawal tab stays locked until there is a balance in the account. So the methods, the fees and the timings are all hidden until after you have paid.
We are not going to invent payout times we have not tested. But a bookie that will not show you the way out before you walk in tells you something.
Does GG.BET have deposit limits?
No. There is no deposit limit, no loss limit, no time-out and no self-exclusion.
We went looking first and could not find any of it, so we asked their live chat directly.
“Sorry, it is not possible to set such limits.”

Asked at 11:29, answered at 11:29. Quick, and straight with us.
Under a minute to reply and honest about it, which we will give them credit for. But that is the whole answer. They offered to close the account instead, which seems to be the only lever they have.
Their Responsible Gaming page runs to 562 words and reads like a leaflet. Set yourself a limit. Be honest with yourself. Sound advice, no buttons. One helpline gets a mention, GambleAware, and there is no Irish number on it.
If you like knowing there is a limit you can set and cannot undo on a bad night, this is not the place. Betway does that properly.
It is a casino too, by the way
Click Promotions and you land on slots. Football sits on the front page. Casino and Live Casino are right there in the menu.
None of that hurts the esports, and the esports is excellent. Just know what you are signing into.
So, should you?
Yes if you want the best esports coverage going and you bet winners, map winners and handicaps. Sharp prices, quick in-play, streams built into the page, more games covered than anyone else.
No if you want limits you can set yourself, or you would rather see the withdrawal options before you deposit, or you are an accumulator player hoping to make that bonus work.
If you are in Ireland, one thing. GG.BET is not licensed here. Ireland’s new betting licences came in on 1 July 2026 and they are not on the register, so there is no Irish regulator to go to if a payout goes wrong.

GG.BET FAQs
Is GG.BET legit?
Yes. It has run since 2016 on a Curaçao licence and it is an anti-corruption partner of the Esports Integrity Commission. It is not licensed in the UK, the US or Ireland, and Curaçao is a lighter touch than the UKGC, so keep your deposits sensible.
How long does a GG.BET withdrawal take?
They will not tell you until you have deposited. The withdrawal section stays locked on an empty account, so the methods, fees and timings are all hidden until your money is in.
What is the GG.BET welcome bonus?
€1,000 plus €250 in free bets over your first five deposits. You need to turn it over 20 times on singles priced 1.75 or bigger, inside 14 days, and bonus winnings cap out at €50.
Can I use GG.BET from Ireland?
You are not blocked, and it served our Irish account a full set of deposit options. But GG.BET holds no Irish licence, so you would be betting outside the Irish system with no local comeback.
Does GG.BET have deposit limits or self-exclusion?
No. We asked their support team and were told it is not possible to set such limits. The only thing on offer was closing the account. If you want those tools, use a licensed book.
Which esports does GG.BET cover?
CS2, League of Legends, Dota 2 and Valorant in full depth, plus StarCraft II, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, Call of Duty, Mobile Legends, King of Glory, Arena of Valor and plenty more.
